#2 Me, My Self and I

On the day of October 13, 1995, the eldest son of Noel M. Soriano and Elvira G. Soriano was born. I’m the only grandson who brings the Soriano in our family so they have decided to give me the name of my grandfather which is Policronio. But my mother insisted to cut the name in to Pol which is my name now and they just added John making it Pol John G. Soriano. I currently live in Meadowlark Street, Isabel Village, Pala-o, Iligan City. I finished my elementary in Iligan City East Central School(ICECS), my high school in Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Integrated Developmental School (MSU-IIT IDS) and now taking BS Electronics and Computer Engineering(BSECE) in the same said university in Iligan. When I was at elementary, I loved to dance in events but when I reach high school, I only dance when I really need to maybe for the busy things in studying like projects or research papers. I’m a shy type of person, making hard for me in having grades in oral at school. For those who don’t know me, well, I’m friendly, easy to approach, but sometimes when I’m bored, I get to find things to get laugh to with friends as my companion. I like eating spaghetti, burgers, fried chicken, buko salad, French fries, and many more delicious foods. Maybe I’ll just limit sharing here. I hope you will know me now about simple things in me. I hope also you enjoy reading and have a great day ahead.

#1 A Stop to Say Thank You to Everyone

Thank you is a simple two word phrase with a great meaning to everyone around us. But why do we forgot to say thank you to the people who helps us in simple ways. Like the guards in the mall for opening the door, the employees of a certain restaurant for serving us what we ordered, and for everyone who is like invisible to us but help us in our way always. Even how tiring there day was, hearing someone saying thank you in their way, it will help them to replenish since someone appreciated there simple work. Some of us only say the word when they are given allowance or valuables. Even in our parents, we already forgot our virtues with them. We must think first that our parents was the one who cared for us the most since we were young, guarded us from danger, and loved us to the fullest. But why do we also forgot to say simple thank you to them? Our parents continue to support us but deep inside, they have a little feeling of you abusing them. Saying thank you to teachers for teaching us, friends for helping us in our difficult times, and in our parents for growing us well, are the greatest values which we must not forgot. For the ones who already forgot to say thank you must practice to say this in simple ways in order to have this values again. And above all, when your reading this blog, THANK YOU.
